These are very exciting days in which we find ourselves! We are faith-based partners helping to meet the needs
of New Hampshire's citizens. We are actively engaged in a number of projects making a difference in the lives of NH's citizens.
We are coming up to our 10th anniversary of our first project - Grace Children's Home. This pioneering adventure into NH's foster care system continues to be fruitful. Property has been purchased, rennovations complete and many children have benefitted from our efforts. We have seen a significant increase in the Faith Community's involvement in foster care and it is continuing to increase. Recent statistics show that close to 70% of NH's foster parents are members of various faith communities. Pastors are embracing foster care as a home mission and getting involved. Together we are making a difference demonstrating the love of God for people everywhere.
Currently we are working on a number of other projects as our capacity is growing. We are building UShareNH which is an online virtual warehouse helping to connect needs with resources throughout the state. We are in the development stage working closely with the National Guard and NH Health and Human Services. We expect to launch UShareNH in the next few months.
We are also working to develop a Faith-based Community Initiative here in NH. There are three different Faith-based networks in NH and we have found how to work together without duplicating our efforts. We are developing the website for the Faith-based Action Network as well as serving on their board of directors. Check out their website on the naviagation bar to the left. It has some of the most recent information on what's happening in the Faith-based Initiative across the country. Community and Faith-based partnerships are leading to in
novative solutions to stubborn problems in our culture. We are working to make their best practices a reality in NH!
Undergirding our efforts is the Lifeline Church which has doubled in size since our beginning in December '07. We are excited about what is happening in our community and the lives that have been forever changed. Our meetings have been life-giving and our times of fellowship around a meal afterwards have been so much fun! It really has the feel of a family and a community on a mission. Such a different feel than going to a meeting where nobody knows your name!
We're glad you stopped by so take a look around, download items of interest, and get in touch, we'd love to meet you!
Sincerely,
Keith Marsh
