What We Do : Sunday Mornings

On Sundays we gather to give thanks to God for who He is and what He has done. Everyone is welcome to join us! This is a time of celebration for the whole church so it is usually quite lively. But it's not about simply singing songs, entertainment or following a set pattern. Our primary purpose is to enjoy the presence of God. We hope that you will feel that also. We'll start around 10:30 am and we'll be meeting at Grace Children's Home on top of Philbrick Hill in Springfield, NH. You can click the link in the box to the left, "Find Us", and get directions.

After worship the younger children will enjoy a special time together. The rest of us will take some time to consider God's Word in a relevant and practical way.; Our focus is always to hear and to do what the Holy Spirit says. "Keeping in step with the Spirit" is the key to forward progress in the Christian life.  Afterwards, do stay around for a meal. We'll look forward to getting to know you. Finishing times vary, but expect to be sitting down for lunch around 12:30 pm or so.

What kind of church Is LifeLine Community Church?
An exciting one! We have a real ‘can do’ mentality reflected in a wide range and frequently changing program of activities. We aren’t part of a denomination, but we do enjoy a good relationship with a number of other churches. We are members of the New Hampshire Alliance. There is much more to us than we can explain here so do come and check us out for yourself.

What do you believe?
We believe in the Bible and all the essentials of the Christian faith. We are keen to distance ourselves from ‘religious clutter’ that is often hypocritical and a hindrance to people meeting God for themselves. You can find out more on our Foundation Course which examines the basics of the faith and the way in which we particularly seek to live out these beliefs. Click Here to find out more.

What are your Sunday meetings like?
Sundays are a time to celebrate God's faithfulness! The genesis of worship is the heart, not the music so we endeavor to come together with good and honest hearts singing songs of thanksgiving and praise. We love to sing and celebrate - and we give time for children to sing their songs of praise as well. They are important members of LifeLine Church and we are blessed to have a good number of them! We'll also take time to seriously consider God's Word expressed in clear and practical terms. The Bible is a book about life given to help us live for the glory of God, not just giving us ammo so we can think we know more than the church down the street. Afterwards, we'll sit down to enjoy a meal together for as long as people can stay. While we love to meet, what we are endeavoring to become has more of a community feel than that of a meeting. We want to be a church where our love for God and others is real and practical, a love that can be seen and not just talked about.

How big are you?
We believe that quality is more important than quantity. This is reflected in our vision to be an example and influence. How we are communicates more than what we do. Having said that, we do an awful lot – much more than you would expect for a new church plant of 50+ people.

Do you have a building?
Yes and no. The church is ‘the people’ and we often forget that! Grace Children's Home is our current home providing us support and facilities we currently need. We have lots of room to grow here in phase one.

Do you have activities for children and young people?
Yes – and those who are not so young also. Understanding God’s heart for children and young people is something that we learned many years ago. Unlike many churches, we are delighted that many of our young people do not drift away in their teenage years but actually get involved in leading and participating in the many activities on offer.

Are you involved in the community?
We established a separate nonprofit corporation, LifeLine NH, to provide a foundation for our community projects. You can find out more exploring this website.
